iterations is the personal intellectual capital development process of Matt and Gail Taylor. It holds the intellectual property related to the Taylor Value Web® process, work methods and models, and projects while also serving the investment vehicle that supports the ongoing development of inventions and enterprises. iterations specializes in rapid prototyping and FastTracking, bringing fresh ideas, both social and technological, to the marketplace at a pace requisite with the change around us.

It is the intention of all the Taylor Value Web enterprises to develop and present to the market a unique and consistent brand that represents the essence of the Taylor experience. A full range of intellectual property protection (including persona, trade dress, trade secrets, trade marks, copyright, design patents, and functional patents) is employed by iterations and allied Taylor organizations to protect, project, and maintain the integrity of the MG Taylor brand and to maintain fidelity of the users experience. iterations has been assigned a broad functional patent that is embedded in all MG Taylor methods. Patent number 6,292,830 was issued to Matt and Gail Taylor on September 18, 2001.

The purpose of this IP program is not to limit the use of the Taylor processes, tools, environments, or products; rather its purpose is to build them into sustainable intellectual capital - IP + the ability to produce + brand presence in a viable market. The Taylor intention is to license members of the Value Web, as appropriate, to perpetuate their unique way of work while protecting their unique IP - and building a healthy, sustainable economy of goods, services and value based on organizational principles of the 21st Century.
